Mike and Julian had no podcasting experience, no equipment, no technical background—and no idea what they’d started. But they had charisma, heart, and the potential to offer something few others could: a veterinary podcast that was unfiltered, approachable, and deeply relatable.
Building a Brand from Scratch
We stepped in as their full production partner from day one—developing the show’s name, tone, and visual identity. We created the logo, artwork, jingle, and website, and worked with Mike and Julian to develop recurring segments, including the now-signature “60 Second CPD,” where guests are challenged to give a lecture in under a minute.
We also coached them through interview techniques and helped establish a show structure that balanced humour with meaningful professional insight. Our goal was to preserve their spontaneous charm while packaging it for a professional audience.
Remote Recording in a Locked-Down World
Launching a podcast in 2020 came with unique logistical hurdles. With everyone isolated, we provided remote kit lists and walked the hosts through setup over Zoom—sometimes literally talking them through plugging in mics or installing software live on camera. We also managed remote guest bookings, coordinating interviews across time zones to keep the show on a consistent release schedule.
End-to-End Production & Publishing
Every episode since launch has been produced entirely by our team. We handle:
• Guest outreach and scheduling
• Audio and video editing
• Bespoke episode artwork
• Social media assets (6 posts per episode, including quote graphics and short clips)
• YouTube and podcast platform uploads
• Analytics, reporting, and audience growth strategy
Mike and Julian simply turn up, record, and send us the files. We take care of the rest—polishing each episode into content that entertains, informs, and elevates their professional brand.
Global Guests, Industry Icons
Over 120 guests have joined the show so far, from global veterinary leaders and educators to Olympic athletes, vet nurses, charity founders, and even a veterinary chef. What unites them all is a space where they can be themselves—not just experts, but people.
